LINCOLN COUNTY, TENNESSEE DEEDS

Book I, p. 367 > Randolph Allsup – To deed {This Indenture made and entered into this twenty Seventh day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Two} James Allsup Senr. heirs: Between Randolph Allsup of the County of Giles and State of Tennessee, of the one part and Robin R. Allsup, Joseph Allsup, Agnes Jennings, Daniel Allsup, Brice M. G. Allsup and Anderson Allsup, all of the Co. of Lincoln and State of Tennessee, and Orlena S. Allsup, Louisa S. Allsup, Mary Ann Allsup, and Margaret Allsup, heirs of Thomas Allsup decd also Louisa Allsup heir of James Allsup decd all of Lincoln county and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars in hand paid by the said James Allsup decd all of Lincoln County and State aforesaid of the other part that the said Randolph Allsup as aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars in hand paid by the said James Allsup decd father of the above named legatees, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has given granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed with the said Robin R. Allsup, Joseph Allsup, Agnes Jennings, Daniel Allsup, Brice M. G. Allsup, Anderson Allsup, Henry Allsup Orlena S. Allsup, Louisa S. Allsup, Mary Ann Allsup, and Margaret Allsup, Louise Allsup the nine tenths of a certain tract or parcel of land containing twenty two and a half acres, be the same more or less, lying being and situate in the county of Lincoln and state aforesaid on the waters of Bradshaws Creek, and bounded as follows to wit) Beginning at two small Boxelders, saplings running North Sixty poles to a Beech; thence South Sixty poles to a Beech, thence East Sixty poles to the beginning founded on a Grant No. 7358 also nine tenths of another tract, in Said County & State of thirty seven and a half acres, Beginning at a Beech in the North boundary lines of the above described tract, running thence North eighty poles to two sourwoods, thence west croping a branch, at twenty poles in all seventy four poles, to a Beech, thence South eighty poles to a Beech, & hickory thence East seventy five poles to the beginning founded on a grant No 7938: To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with all & Singular the rights profits emoluments hereditaments and appurtenances of award to the same in anywise thereunto, belonging or appertaining to the Same the only proper use of them the said Robin R. Allsup, Joseph Allsup, Agnes Jennings, Daniel Allsup Brice M. G. Allsup, Anderson Allsup, Henry Allsup, Orlena S. Allsup, Louisa S. Allsup, Mary Ann Allsup, Margaret Allsup and Louisa Allsup and their heirs or assigns forever and the said Randolph Allsup for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth covenant and agree to and with the said Robin R. Allsup, Joseph Allsup, Agnes Jennings, Daniel Allsup, Brice M G Allsup, Anderson Allsup, Henry Allsup, Orlena S. Allsup, Louisa S. Allsup, Mary Ann Allsup, Margaret Allsup & Louisa Allsup, their heirs and assigns, that the before recited he will covenant and forever defend against the right title claim or demand of all and every other person, or persons, or manner  of persons whatsoever, claiming the same in law or Equality.
